No need for unnecessary additions which are commonly found in supermarket dips, such as canola oil, potato paste, mayonnaise and cream cheese. Only a few readily available ingredients are needed, so why not give this a try?

Ingredients:

  • 2 medium Hass avocados (peeled) 
  • 1/2 cup chickpeas
  • 1 small clove garlic 
  • 1 small lemon (squeezed)
  • Sprinkle of salt 

Method:

1. Blend the avocado, chickpeas, garlic, salt and lemon juice in a food processor until desired consistency is reached.

2. Stop the processor a few times to scrape down the sides.
